About Us

Accommodation Central

We want all of our students to learn and succeed. With the appropriate, successfully implemented accommodations, students can reach their fullest potential. However, finding current information about accommodations can be challenging, confusing, and complicated. Our mission is to provide everything you need in one place: accommodations that support student learning, relevant examples, steps for implementation, practical tips, and details about state testing allowability.

The Accommodation Central Learning Library provides more in-depth information about accommodations and related topics. The Accommodation Central Community is a place to build connections where members can participate in live chats, share ideas, and ask questions.

This website was developed as a project of the Region 13 Progress in the General Curriculum Program. Keep checking back as we add more content, videos, and other resources to Accommodation Central. We hope that educators of all levels and backgrounds will find this website useful for their practice.

Region 13

Education Service Center Region 13 is one of twenty service centers that serve Texas educational needs. We are a non-regulatory agency; our relationship with school districts is collaborative and supportive. Our purpose is to aid teachers and administrators in their role as educators of our children. We serve as a liaison between the Texas Education Agency and local schools districts and the schools they serve by disseminating information, conducting training, and consultation for both federal and state programs.
